Massage Laws

Washington State has some of the highest requirements of massage practitioners in the US. We are one of two states that can bill health insurance. The other state is Florida.

While not all laws make sense, most of the laws relating to massage are important.

We are required to go to approved schools, get a certain amount of hours in those schools, take continuing education, etc. Please click on any of the links below to read each of the specific laws that relate to us and that may help guide you in picking a good and legitimate massage therapist.
